These galleries are a small cross-section of photos produced by Kasun Ubayasiri.

The Diggers series is part of an ongoing photo project aimed at capturing the presence and dignity of Australian war veterans. All images in this series have been shot with available light.

Two collections of outback images feature portraits selected from more than 150 human interest profiles taken over a three year period, while Kasun worked as a photographer and journalist for the Central Queensland Rural Weekly and the Rockhampton Morning Bulletin . From larrikin bush magicians and old cart wrights, from basil growers to traveling equestrian dentists, these collections offer a glimpse of some of the personalities who inhabit the Australian bush.

The black&white documentary style photo essays are perhaps some of the best example of Kasun's passion for ‘capturing the moment.' This gallery showcase four documentary-style photo essays produced as part of a series for the Whitsunday Times newspaper based in Airlie Beach .
